Za’Sean Davis of Indianapolis Remembered After Fatal Far East Side Incident on James Run Way Early Sunday Morning

Za’Sean Davis of Indianapolis has been identified as the person who died after an early Sunday morning incident on James Run Way on the city’s far east side.

Authorities said the situation involved 31-year-old Quinton Sanders, a former partner, and Davis, who was described as the former partner’s current partner.

Court records said tensions continued after Sanders drove the former partner home, and investigators reported that Davis was inside a vehicle when the fatal encounter occurred.

Officers detained Sanders at the scene as Sanders reportedly attempted to leave, and officials booked Sanders on a preliminary charge while prosecutors review further decisions.

Loved ones remember Za’Sean Davis as a familiar and well-regarded presence in the Indianapolis community and noted attendance at Arsenal Technical High School.

Family and friends now mourn a life that ended too soon, while memorial and funeral service details will be announced later by family members.
