Isaac Hanson, a 25-year-old from Luana, Iowa, died on May 22, 2026, after a Can-Am UTV rollover on Scott Hollow Road in rural Allamakee County.
The sheriff’s office said Hanson lost control for reasons still under review, and the vehicle overturned and pinned Hanson underneath.
Officials pronounced Hanson deceased at the scene, and no other vehicles were involved.
Authorities continue to review road conditions, speed, mechanical issues, and other possible factors as part of their ongoing inquiry.
Hanson worked in construction as a heavy equipment operator and earned respect for a strong work ethic, dependability, and care for others.
